It’s been an unbelieveable weekend for Lewis Hamilton, as he takes his 104th win in Formula 1.
George Russell started on pole, however a mechanical issue with his car ended his race. Lando Norris was looking strong to win. However, Lewis Hamilton was able to stay ahead of him after the pits. The rain affected the race heavily. Many drivers struggled, but experienced and talented Lewis Hamilton was the driver to take advantage of the rain the most.
Hamilton broke some of his records such as:
First driver to win after 300 race starts
Oldest race winner in the 21st century
Most wins at a single circuit
Winning in 16 different seasons
Longest interval between first and most recent wins
Hamilton can equal his own record by winning the Hungarian GP for the 9th time. Even in his bad seasons Lewis Hamilton was able to success in Hungary.
