Since the last post there has been quite a lot of news. Lando Norris won in Netherlands, in front of mant Max Verstappen fans.

Before the Italian GP, Logan Sargeant got fired from Williams and the Argentinian Franco Colapinto filled his seat. Safety car also crashed which happened for the first time ever. It turned out that there was a brake issue with the car, so Maylander made the car spin to slighten the impact. Also Charles Leclerc won the Grand Prix, although a McLaren win was looking likely. Charles Leclerc has won both races he wanted to win the most in the same year, Monaco and Monza which are his and Ferrari’s home grand prix respectively.

In Azerbeijan, Leclerc took pole position for the 4th time in a row and Sergio Perez qualified 4th, which is his best result in last few months. During the race Leclerc was going as the leader and expected a win. However, Mclaren have found a loophole which allows the rear wing to slightly go up on the straights without DRS. This created a huge advantage and made Ferrari lose the race. At the final laps of the race, Sergio Perez, in 3rd place, started to fight with Leclerc to get second place. As Perez overtook Leclerc, Leclerc took the place back and Carlos Sainz saw the gap and also got ahead of Perez. As Perez and Sainz were trying to get the clean air from Leclerc, they crashed. Norris got into P4. Colapinto finished P8 and Oliver Bearman, who replaced Kevin Magnussen who had a race ban, also got a point. Therefore, he became the first F1 driver ever to score in two different teams in his first two races.

Now, for the Singapore Grand Prix. Singapore has hosted a lot of exciting races, especially when there is rain which is also expected this weekend. There has always been a safety car during the race. Last year, Carlos Sainz became the only non-Red Bull driver to win a Grand Prix in Singapore.

Red Bull have announced that they won’t be doing special liveries in Singapore and Austin because of the weight limit. As an answer to that, RB, Mercedes and McLaren have announced that they will be having special liveries this weekend. Mercedes and RB have these livery due to their sponsors Petronas and Hugo respectively. However, considering Mercedes doesn’t make special liveries often, this was probably intented to make fun of Red Bull.

There has been no investigation for McLaren yet about the rear wing. Like in the past years Red Bull are probably going to struggle. So, who do you think is going to win?
